For generations, our default counsel has pushed women to pray harder, fast longer, and forgive deeper—treating their survival as the ultimate proof of faith. They stay, submit, and cover his shame to protect a family reputation, fighting a brutal battle for a relationship that the other party seems completely detached from saving.

We must confront the reality that terminal endurance was never scripturally intended to become a permanent license for a husband's unchecked rebellion. There is a profound structural difference between standing for your marriage and allowing a daughter of God to be systematically sacrificed on the altar of another person's selfishness.

Prolonged betrayal reshapes a person. The pain is not only in the cheating; it is in the agonizing cycle of discovery that turns peace into heavy anxiety. A heart dies in pieces, not all at once, until the woman she used to be begins to completely disappear.
