Pastor Prime Kufa, who has served for years as a spokesperson for United Family International Church (UFIC), has taken on a new public role following his appointment to the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe board. The appointment was formally announced in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary for Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Nick Mangwana, on September 4, 2026. President Emmerson Mnangagwa authorized the placements, granting the new members a solid four-year mandate to regulate and shape the broadcasting sector.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa appointed seven members to the newly constituted Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe Board. Pastor Prime Kufa joins six other appointees as the board takes responsibility for the statutory oversight of Zimbabwe's broadcasting sector.
